1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Customer support correspondence. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your communications.
Account information. If you sign in using a third-party service (such as Apple or Google), we receive a unique identifier and any information you authorize that service to share.
Purchase information. When you make in-app purchases, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive transaction confirmations, purchase receipts, transaction IDs, and subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use our Services, we and our service providers automatically collect:
Device and technical information: device make, model, and operating system; screen size and orientation; audio volume and battery status; carrier; network connection type and speed; browser user-agent (where applicable).
Identifiers: Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA on iOS) where you have granted permission, Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), Google Advertising ID (GAID on Android) subject to your settings, internal player IDs, IP address.
Location information: approximate location derived from IP address, country, time zone, and locale (preferred language). We do not request or collect precise device location (GPS) from your device.
Gameplay and usage data: levels reached, session length, in-game actions, progression, in-app purchases, ad interactions, crashes, performance metrics.
Marketing attribution data: information about how you found our games (for example, which ad you clicked).
Some of this information, alone or in combination, may be considered "personal information" or "personal data" under applicable law.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Operate, maintain, and improve our Services;
Create and manage player accounts and cloud saves;
Process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions;
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
Deliver, measure, and personalize advertising (including contextual and behavioral advertising);
Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and attribute installs;
Analyze usage and conduct research to understand and improve player experience;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms of Service;

Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract: to provide the Services you request, including processing purchases.
Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve our Services; prevent fraud; conduct analytics; and engage in non-personalized advertising.
Consent: for personalized advertising, certain analytics, and other processing where consent is required (such as use of advertising identifiers). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information in the following circumstances:
Service providers and SDK partners. We share information with vendors that help us operate our Services, including cloud hosting, analytics, advertising, attribution, in-app purchase management, and crash reporting. See Section 4 for the specific partners we use.
Advertising partners. Ad networks and measurement partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, and contextual gameplay data to deliver and measure ads, including personalized advertising where permitted.
Business transfers. If Voidberry is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, court order, subpoena, or other lawful request; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of Voidberry, our players, or others; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) enforce our Terms of Service.
With your consent or at your direction. We may share information with third parties when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
Aggregated or de-identified information. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Services We Use

These SDKs may collect device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, gameplay data, and other information described in Section 1. We encourage you to review each provider's privacy policy.
5. Your Privacy Rights
5a. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:
Right to know what personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
Right to access the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to delete personal information we have collected (subject to legal exceptions).
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not currently use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right).
Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
Categories of personal information we collect (past 12 months):

Categories of third parties we share personal information with: advertising networks, attribution providers, analytics providers, cloud service providers, payment processors (Apple, Google), and law enforcement when legally required.
"Sale" and "Sharing": We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics SDKs may constitute "sharing" or a "sale" under California law because device identifiers and related data are disclosed to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising on iOS, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt or revoke permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, opt out via Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
To exercise other rights, email privacy@voidberry.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights:

Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure — request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), subject to exceptions.
Restriction — limit how we process your data.
Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing and profiling for advertising.
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Voidberry LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through the Services. To exercise your rights, email privacy@voidberry.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
5c. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other U.S. states (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and others with applicable laws) may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising and sales. To exercise these rights, email privacy@voidberry.com.
6. Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires us to ask permission before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you grant permission, we and our partners may use your IDFA for personalized advertising and attribution. If you decline, we will not use your IDFA for these purposes, and you will see less personalized ads. Declining the ATT prompt does not prevent you from playing our games or accessing any features. You can change your decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
7. Children's Privacy
Our games are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@voidberry.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. General retention guidelines:
Account and gameplay data: for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward.
Purchase and transaction records: up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
Customer support records: typically 3 years.
Analytics and advertising data: typically up to 14 months in identifiable form, then aggregated or deleted.
Crash and diagnostic logs: typically 90 days.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
Voidberry is based in the United States, and our service providers may be located in other countries. When we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on voidberry.com, providing in-game notice, or emailing you (where we have your email address) before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
